Wendy the Squirrel lives in the shady pecan trees of Seguin, Texas, where the breeze carries the sound of laughter and the river flows nearby. Wendy is small but full of energy, always hopping from branch to branch with a cheerful spirit.

She loves her community more than anything. Every day, Wendy checks in on her friends—sharing pecans, listening to stories, and helping wherever she can. If someone is hungry, Wendy shares. If someone is lost, Wendy guides them home.

One afternoon, after a strong wind, a young bird can’t find its nest. Wendy gathers her friends, and together they work until the nest is safe again. The animals of Seguin cheer, knowing they can always count on Wendy.
